Ideas for Healthy Packed Lunches
Within the Pre-School, we focus on healthy eating. As part of this, we think about the packed lunches children bring in to Pre-School. We regularly hold events where parents join us for a healthy lunch or snack prepared by the children. This helps the children show off what they have learned and are usually judged as very tasty by parents.
To provide some inspiration, below we have collated a list of options for food you could include in a healthy packed lunch box. We would love to hear your suggestions of other items that we could add to this page. If you have any ideas, please email them to Flying.Start@Peasmarsh.e-sussex.sch.uk or talk to a member of staff.

Lunches should not include fizzy drinks, crisps and chocolate. We also ask that they be packed in suitable containers (e.g. not glass). We have a fridge available for you to put your children’s lunch box to keep food cool.
We always have milk and water available for the children at lunchtime. Each child also has their own water bottle which they have access to at all times.
